Warranted Electrical Engineer

  Central Malta  |  starting from €34,000 Annually 

Our client is looking for a Warranted Electrical Engineer. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing the preparations of technical proposals.
  • Participating in tender evaluations
  • Submitting detailed responses to the inquiry documentation and providing answers or responses to any subsequent requests for clarification
  • Acting as the company’s internal contact point for the customer during the inquiry and bidding processes
  • Developing, negotiating, and agreeing on confirmed contract specifications with a variety of external groups including contractors, end-users, and other suppliers.
  • Handling incoming tenders by keeping a prioritized listing of outstanding tasks
  • Responding to the tender participant’s (technical-based) questions and requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Clarifying subsequent documents and to prepare detailed tender documentation promptly for contract engineering to execute the contract
  • Evaluating value engineering or cost-saving opportunities
  • Understanding the commercial fundamentals of a Professional Engineer
  • Preparing an outline design based on employer requirements
  • Attending and lead tender handover meeting
  • Reporting at daily/weekly sales briefings

Requirements

  • Must have experience with AutoCAD, Word and Excel software.
  • Aware of quality and environmental systems
  • Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions Good awareness of product limitations

Education and Experience

  • Be in possession of an engineering warrant
