Team Manager (Fault Finding)

Our client is looking to onboard a Team Manager to join their Maintenance team, for a role focused on fault finding. The chosen candidate will:

• Lead fault-finding operations on manufacturing equipment and restore operation in the shortest possible time.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure optimum upkeep, servicing, and reliability of plant and production equipment.
• Install and commission new equipment as required.
• Review, recommend, and implement improvements in spare parts procurement and management.
• Supervise and effectively manage assigned maintenance staff.
• Participate in planning, preparation, and delivery of training programs for maintenance employees.
• Use company software systems to manage daily operations and record all actions accurately.
• Ensure proper and complete compilation of all required documentation.
• Raise requisitions and order spare parts and materials in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and suggest changes to improve cost-effectiveness and availability.
• Actively participate in engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute technical expertise to process and equipment upgrades.
• Ensure all environmental, health, and safety standards are adhered to.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure safe practices are implemented in all maintenance activities.

Education and Experience

• MQF Level 5 or higher engineering related qualification
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar post would be considered an asset
• Wireman Licence "A" and "B" would be considered an asset
• Awareness of continuous improvement tools and techniques
• Awareness of 5S and TPM procedures and techniques
• IT literate
• Fluency in Maltese and English language
