Our client is seeking to recruit a motivated Structural Engineer with a sound knowledge of structural engineering principles to join the Malta office and work on all the phases of the design process on a variety of projects, ranging in both scale and scope.
What you'll be doing
Develop structural designs on projects at a range of scales in concrete, steel, masonry, timber and other materials
Carry out projects on all phases of the design process, from concept design stage through to inspection on site
Coordinate with the architect and other engineering consultants as part of the team
Maintains up-to-date technical knowledge
Uses analytical software effectively and interprets the outputs well
Applies theory to practice in a logical way
Highlights potential problems and ensures there is a resolution
Preparation of property condition and valuation reports
What We’re Looking For
A master’s degree in structural engineering
A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in structural engineering consultancy
Working knowledge of Eurocode suite of standards
Working knowledge of relevant design software for structural analysis
Someone who enjoys their work and is indisputably passionate about delivering great engineering
Able to prioritise own workload, meet tight deadlines and work effectively within a team
Able to build effective working relationships with professionals of all levels and disciplines within the organisation
