Our client is looking for a Quality Officer to support and monitor compliance within the Quality Management System, helping to ensure excellence in food safety, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal & external audits of the company's brands
- Perform monthly site inspections with detailed photo reports
- Investigate customer complaints on-site and document findings
- Maintain and update FSQMS documents, SOPs, and work instructions
- Coordinate calibration activities with local/overseas suppliers
- Conduct draught/dispense quality audits at customer locations
- Carry out glass & hard plastic checks in production/warehouse areas
- Support traceability exercises during audits or real-life incidents
- Perform export product inspections and limited lab testing
- Identify trends in complaints and escalate recurring issues
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of quality systems, audits, and food safety practices
- Experience in a similar QA or food safety role in Malta
- Must have a valid driving license in Malta
- MQF Level 3 or 4 qualification in a related field
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with BRC, ISO, and customer-specific standards
- Confident to speak with clients and an excellent level of English
- Candidates with previous experience in a client-facing role, will be given preference
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday from 07.00hrs till 15.00hrs
