The Quality Assurance Executive is responsible for liaising with internal departments as well as regulatory bodies to implement and maintain standards, whilst conducting audits.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring operations, processing, packaging, and quality control.
Developing, updating, and implementing documentation related to processing, quality assurance and food safety management.
Having a key role in the accreditation and certification of the company’s operations, quality assurance and food safety management systems.
Generating, updating, and managing an audit program related to the above.
Applying knowledge of local regulations and company policies to ensure compliance with all the products.
Requirements:
A key understanding of HACCP, quality and food safety management.
Post-graduate Degree in a food science-related subject.
Knowledge of, and experience with, ISO 9001 standards shall be considered an asset.
Excellent use of Microsoft Office applications.
Fluency (written and verbal) in English, Maltese is highly preferred.
