Project Manager

  Central Malta  |  €40,000 - €50,000 Annually 

Our client is looking for a Project Manager to grow their growing team. Reporting to the COO, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Manage and oversee projects to ensure timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders throughout project implementation, ensuring effective communication, efficient resource allocation, and alignment with the project’s objectives and work programme.
  • Handle contract management for works and services during project execution, including the preparation and administration of tenders and contracts.
  • Develop project specifications, cost estimates, and other documentation required for procurement processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive reporting and documentation logs in line with established standard operating procedures.
  • Organize and document meetings, including evaluation committees and project board sessions, ensuring accurate minutes are recorded.
  • Establish and implement standard operating procedures and policies related to project management and procurement activities.
  • Support audit procedures by providing the necessary documentation and assistance.
  • Assist executive management in developing company policies and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Finance Department and other internal teams to support overall project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possession of a valid Category B driving licence.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, project management, procurement, or contract management.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure.
