Process Engineer

  South of Malta

Our client is looking to recruit a Process Engineer to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will:

  • Convert product requirements into streamlined and effective manufacturing workflows.
  • Create and implement reliable, cost-efficient production techniques.
  • Analyze process data and work closely with Quality Engineering teams.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Process-Specific Operating Procedures (PSOPs).
  • Drive process qualification activities (OQ/PQ) and lead ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Assist in the development of tools and processes from initial concept through to full-scale production.
  • Provide guidance to team members and help foster a strong culture of safety and operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is a must. 
  • A Master’s degree combined with 3+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical, BioPharma, or related industries is preferred
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, including 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone methodologies.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and familiar with statistical analysis software/tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination capabilities.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and metrology concepts.
