We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to manage and schedule maintenance across the facilities. You will coordinate between the internal team and external contractors to ensure that all of the site is operating smoothly, safely, and with minimal disruption.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the facilities
- You will be managing a team of maintenance technicians
- You will ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance schedules, including preventive maintenance
- You will assist with strategies, managing budgets, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment
- Monitor expenses, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain departments
- Evaluate contractor performance, negotiate service agreements, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
Requirements:
- A relevant technical qualification in maintenance, mechanical or electrical
- Proven experience in maintenance management.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and drive cost efficiencies.
- Sound understanding of safety regulations and risk management.
- Wireman License A or B would be considered as an asset
