We are seeking the services of an experienced Mechanical Engineer responsible for designing, installing and improving HVAC systems in commercial and industrial buildings. The role involves ensuring systems are energy-efficient, cost-effective, and comply with environmental and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems based on building specifications, climate, and usage.
- Select and size equipment like chillers, air handlers, VRFs and ductwork.
- Develop and read blueprints and schematics for system layouts.
- Compile BOQs and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers during project planning and execution.
- Perform load calculations and energy modelling to ensure system efficiency.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC & Mechanical building services systems.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress, quality, and safety of works.
Requirements:
- Engineering Warrant
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and building codes.
- Proficiency in CAD software and HVAC simulation tools.
- Problem-solving and project management skills.
