General Manager (Sustainable Energy Operations)

Our client is looking for a General Manager to take the lead on a brilliant opportunity related to Sustainable Energy. The chosen candidate will:

• Oversee daily operations across both islands, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of solar and clean energy projects.
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams including sales, installations, and support services.
• Design and implement operational systems, KPIs, and team structures to support business growth.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO on business strategy, growth planning, and financial performance.
• Drive new customer acquisition through effective sales processes and proactive market engagement.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and technical standards across Malta and Gozo.
• Monitor budgets, manage cash flow, and contribute to financial reporting.
• Build and maintain partnerships with suppliers, installers, local authorities, and sustainability stakeholders.
• Champion a culture of customer-first service, operational excellence, and innovation in clean energy.

Education and Experience

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and technical standards in the energy sector.
• Experience in early-stage companies, startups, or scaling small businesses.
• Familiarity with Maltese and EU renewable energy frameworks.
