Electrical Airfield Coordinator

  South of Malta  |  €30,000 - €35,000 Annually 

Our client is looking to recruit an Electrical Airfield Coordinator to join their growing team. The chosen canddiate will:

  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities in collaboration with the Preventive Maintenance Coordinator to ensure adherence to EASA standards and operational best practices.
  • Supervise maintenance and operations of all airfield electrical systems, including low voltage (415V) and high voltage (11kV) distribution networks, substations, switchboards, and control systems.
  • Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance work orders, taking necessary actions based on performance feedback and system status.
  • Implement and oversee training programs related to airfield electrical systems, ensuring staff are adequately trained with up-to-date and well-documented materials.
  • Maintain compliance of aerodrome electrical infrastructure with relevant EASA requirements and recommendations.
  • Manage the upkeep and organization of airfield technical workshops and sub-stores, ensuring availability of tools, testing instruments, safety gear, and consumables.
  • Ensure all technical documentation, including electrical plans, schematics, manuals, and handbooks, is regularly updated and properly maintained.

Requirements

  • Excellent Management and Leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly assess and resolve technical issues, with a proactive approach to identifying potential improvements and efficiencies.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the Electrical Engineering industry.
  • Possess the wiremen’s Licence A and B.
  • Written and verbal proficiency of both Maltese and English is a must.
