Our client is well established in the hotel industry. They are looking for a Chief Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team

The Role

Lead a team of Engineers & Technicians
Be part of the Senior Management Team and report directly into the GM
Ensure that maintenance, both ongoing and preventive are conducted within established timeframes and quality
Create strategy for maintenance and ensure its implementation
Ensure that inventory is always up to date and well stocked
Ensure that all facility related operations/machinary are planned and scheduled in a timely manner
Ensure that relationships with 3rd party suppliers are optimal
Promote continious improvement exercises to ensure cost savings be from internal and external contracts and from internal processes

Requirements

Be assertive yet approachable
Have a minimum 3 years in a similar position
Have experience in leading a team

Education and Experience

Have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
