A client of ours, an architectural practice based in Malta, is searching for an Architect to lead, design and manage projects from concept to completion, and contribute to strategic design development across our portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Lead architectural design and project development from concept to completion
Develop and coordinate detailed construction drawings and ensure compliance with local regulations
Collaborate effectively with engineers, consultants, and contractors
Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and client requirements
Supervise on-site works, ensuring design intent and quality standards are met
Resolve design and technical issues with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach
Apply sustainable design principles and spatial efficiency across projects
Support and mentor junior team members
Contribute to internal design reviews and company-wide architectural standards
Requirements
Solid understanding of structural systems and construction processes
Familiarity with Maltese building codes and planning regulations
Strong portfolio of built or ongoing residential work
Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
Experience coordinating teams and managing stakeholders
Education and Experience
Degree in Architecture with a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in residential projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of ArchiCAD is a strong advantage
