Our client is seeking an Architect or Civil Engineer to join their team, supporting construction and civil engineering projects in Gozo. The role is primarily site-based, with some office work, and requires a hands-on approach to project coordination and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret technical drawings and communicate details clearly to on-site workers
Monitor site works to ensure full compliance with approved drawings and specifications
Prepare contractor’s drawings and as-built documentation
Compile traffic management plans and method statements
Develop and maintain project programmes, including Gantt charts
Ensure compliance with project instructions, timelines, and quality standards
Measure works on site for quantity surveying purposes
Prepare bills of quantities (BOQs) for completed works
Support general project coordination and perform other duties related to the construction and civil engineering industry
Requirements:
Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Previous experience in construction and/or civil engineering projects is preferred
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Good organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Willingness to work primarily on-site, with some office-based responsibilities
