A well-established hotel in Malta is undergoing a full-scale refurbishment and is looking for a Draftsperson with experience in large-scale commercial or hospitality projects. Reporting to the Chief Projects Officer, you’ll be responsible for producing and maintaining detailed technical drawings, collaborating with architects, consultants, engineers, and contractors to translate design concepts into practical execution-ready plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed architectural and MEP drawings across all project phases
- Collaborate with consultants and contractors to translate designs into technical documents
- Update drawings based on site changes and project modifications
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations and project standards
- Maintain version control and drawing documentation
The chosen candidate will be offered a 3-year definite contract.
Requirements
- Candidates must be in Malta already
- Excellent AutoCAD skills
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Project
- Good understanding of Maltese building codes and regulations
- Able to work independently and manage workload in a dynamic environment
Education and Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in drafting for large-scale commercial or hospitality projects
- Strong experience in MEP coordination, finishes, and interior layouts
- Diploma or degree in architectural drafting, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant project experience is required
