Our client, a big 4 corporation, has just opened a position for an Intelligent Automation Lead to manage a team of 3 and work closely with the partner to lead client projects.
In this position, you will lead a team who are focused on automation with low-code apps, RPA, integrations, and AI on Power Apps and Azure.
What you'll be doing
- Team Leadership & Development – Lead and mentor the software development team, set performance goals, conduct reviews, and support career growth and training.
- Project Delivery & Management – Manage workloads, break down milestones into tasks, align with the PMO, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery while tracking risks, progress, and scope.
- Client Engagement & Business Alignment – Participate in workshops, gather requirements, provide updates, and collaborate cross-functionally to design solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Technical Guidance & Best Practices – Oversee design and architecture, ensure scalability, conduct code reviews, provide technical leadership, and promote Agile practices.
- Estimation & Continuous Improvement – Support effort estimation, assist in infrastructure setup, contribute to business development, and monitor performance and feedback for ongoing improvement.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Software Development
- At least 1 year leading a team
- Familiar with Azure and AWS Cloud Platforms
- Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Bi is a plus
- Open to candidates living and working in Malta, holding local experience
- Comfortable working in fast paced environments.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in IT, ideally software Development
