Our client operating in the manufacturing industry, is looking to bring in a DataBases & Operations Software Administrator who will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing database systems and operations software applications in alignment with company policies and procedures.
What you'll be doing:
Manage, maintain, and ensure the security, integrity, and high performance of SQL databases.
Design and optimize database schemas, queries, stored procedures, and overall data structures.
Develop and maintain SQL reports and dashboards to provide accurate operational and management insights.
Monitor and tune database performance, resolving bottlenecks and performing backups, restores, and disaster recovery tasks.
Install, configure, and support operational software and related databases, ensuring smooth system integration.
Implement data security and compliance measures, perform ETL processes, document systems, and provide user training and first-line technical support.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in a technical, database admin or software operations role
Comfortable using SQL Servers (T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, performance tuning).
Experience using reporting tools like SSRS or PowerBI is a plus, as well as data integration
Experience in database backup, recovery, and security management
Education and Experience
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
