Our client is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will engage in innovative projects that involve gathering, analyzing, and interpreting extensive, intricate data sets to inform business insights and decision-making. You will work with cross-functional teams to create data-driven solutions that tackle significant business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and transform extensive, complex data sets from diverse sources.
- Utilize statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools to analyze data and uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
- Develop predictive models to aid in business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders using data visualization tools and presentations.
- Continuously monitor and enhance model performance through testing and validation.
- Design and deliver Power BI and Tableau training, from basic to certification levels, for customers.
Requirements
- Experience with Azure Cloud specifically data science services such as SQL, Cosmos, Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse.
- 2+ years of experience in data science or related field.
- Proficiency in integrating and managing APIs for data integration.
- Expertise in statistical analysis and modelling techniques.
- Proficiency in related programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Proficiency in Power BI and/or Tableau, from an engineering perspective.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Databricks, TensorFlow or PyTorch etc.
