Data Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their team and help build and maintain their Business Intelligence solutions. 

Key responsibilities:  

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions 
• Develop and maintain ETL processes, reporting and analytic solutions 
• Design and develop data models  
• Troubleshoot and resolve data warehouse and ETL issues 
• Monitor and optimize data warehouse performance 
• Create and maintain documentation for data warehouse solutions and integrate new data sources 
• Work closely with the BI operations and other teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
   

Requirements

• Over five years of experience in a similar role
• Expertise in SQL, ETL tools, and data warehouse technologies and cloud databases
• Knowledge and experience with SSRS, SSAS, PowerBI and Excel.
• Knowledge of data visualisation tools and tracking software like JIRA
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
