Our client in the Manufacturing Industry is looking to recruit a Data Analyst to join their growing team.
The chosen candidate would be working in a stand alone role locally, working closely with an international team. The data gathered would be mainly focused on Financial aspects.
Responsibilities:
Gathering, cleaning and validating data from primary and secondary sources
Handling statistical and analytical implementation to identify trends, and correlations with the business
Presenting data for both technical as well as non technical shareholders
Designing interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI, Excel and other tools
Being part of a project to implement software across European sites
Working closely with various teams such as Finance, Operations, Product and others
Identifying opportunities for process optimisation
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role, ideally coming from a similar Industry
Candidates who are coming from a Financial and Accounting background would be given preference
Having previous experience using Excel
Knowledge in Power BI, SQL and Microsoft Copilot would be considered an asset
Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese
Confident working independently
Education and Experience
A Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics or Mathematics
