What you'll be doing -
Market Placement Declaration Coordination
- Manage the full process of platform access and availability for market placement data submissions.
- Ensure producers and importers have access to the system and can submit their declarations without issues.
- Resolve technical or procedural problems promptly.
- Send reminders and actively follow up on delayed, missing, or inconsistent submissions.
Market Surveillance & Data Verification
- Develop and implement thorough market surveillance procedures.
- Conduct audits, data reconciliation, and cross-checks of submitted declarations.
- Identify and address errors, under-reporting, or inconsistencies in data.
Fraud Detection & Analytical Modelling
- Design, refine, and maintain data-driven tools and machine learning models.
- Detect fraud, anomalies, and unusual patterns within large datasets.
- Identify potential cases of non-compliance or fraudulent activity.
Reporting, Business Intelligence & Automation
- Lead the preparation of analytical reports, compliance dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for internal and regulatory use.
- Automate recurring reporting and data processing tasks through coding and advanced BI tools.
- Improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall process effectiveness.
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
- Act as the main contact for the regulatory authority, ensuring accurate and timely data exchange.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, IT, compliance, and management) to investigate irregularities.
- Support issue resolution and clearly communicate analytical findings and insights.
Requirements
- Experience of at least 2 years in a similar role
- Familiar with business intelligence tools like PowerBi to build interactive dashboards, data models and management reports
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- An understanding in programming / scripting languages for process automation and data manipulation
Education and Experience
- Degree in Data Science, Business Analystics or Computer Science
