Chief Digital & Technolgy Officer

Our client is a leading, renowned company on the Maltese Islands and they are recruiting a senior executive, A Chief Digital & Technology Officer to lead its digital transformation and IT strategy across all business units. 

The Role

• You will ensure digital technologies and data become core drivers of growth, efficiency, and innovation.
• You will align digital initiatives with the company’s broader strategic objectives in collaboration with the CEO and senior leadership.
• A major responsibility is developing a secure, scalable, and cost-effective technology roadmap.
• You must ensure that systems, infrastructure, and data assets support regulatory requirements and business ambitions.
• You will drive process automation, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
• Additionally, you will spearhead AI initiatives that enhance operations, decision-making, and customer service.
• You will oversee all IT infrastructure such as servers, networks, databases, and data centres.
• You will ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability across the Group.
• You will establish robust governance frameworks to ensure compliance, transparency, and operational integrity.
• You will contribute significantly to the comoanies IT governance practices and ensure IT initiatives deliver strategic value.
• Leadership of IT teams and effective management of budgets and resources are central to the position.

Requirements

• You should hold a relevant degree and have at least five years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, or digital transformation within complex environments.
• You must demonstrate strong leadership, communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Have at least 5 years experience in a similar role
