Travel Logistics Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Travel Manager to join a growing international company. This full-time, indefinite position requires not only technical expertise in travel and logistics but also proven leadership skills to guide processes, influence outcomes, and support colleagues across the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example in providing best-in-class support across the group to meet and exceed service level targets.
  • Create reservations, arrange ticketing, hotel bookings, chauffeur services, and other travel logistics in a timely and professional manner.
  • Take ownership of rebooking tickets, executing necessary changes, and resolving booking issues efficiently.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by handling challenges and complaints with professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Guide colleagues in maintaining compliance with airline rules, regulations, and current industry affairs.
  • Communicate travel information and solutions to clients clearly, accurately, and confidently.
  • Compile regular and ad-hoc reports with accuracy and timeliness, setting a benchmark for team quality.
  • Remain fully conversant on multiple airline platforms and GDSs, and act as a reference point for others.
  • Contribute to developing and enhancing internal processes and procedures for travel management.
  • Mentor and support junior staff when needed, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a travel agency environment, preferably in leadership roles.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others positively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Knowledge of airline systems is essential, especially Amadeus
  • IATA certification is required.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Outstanding level of spoken and written English; additional languages will be considered an asset, Arabic is preferred.
  • Confident, highly organised, and able to work independently while demonstrating initiative.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead client interactions at a senior level.
