We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Technical & Operations Support Officer to join our growing Operations Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, customer-driven service while ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operational processes.
This role involves supporting clients and partners, maintaining accurate internal records, assisting with technical and product-related queries, and contributing to ongoing projects and system improvements. Full on-the-job training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional support to customers and partners via telephone and email by addressing enquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering clear information on our products and services.
- Conduct customer visits when required to support existing clients, onboard new accounts, or reactivate inactive customers.
- Manage daily operational tasks, including processing applications and ensuring all systems and customer records are accurately maintained and up to date.
- Identify and address technical issues, collaborating with internal teams to resolve problems and reporting any system malfunctions.
- Assist with departmental projects, helping ensure initiatives are delivered within established timeframes.
- Participate in Point-of-Sale (PoS) User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to support timely and successful rollout of system updates.
- Support the line manager with the preparation and submission of monthly operational reports and returns.
Requirements
- Driving licence is a plus.
- Ideally at least one year of experience in office administration or a similar operational role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with basic IT competency and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work on your own initiative.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build effective working relationships.
Education and Experience
- MQF Level 4 or 5 qualification preferred.
