Officer – Graphic and Motion Design

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Officer Graphic and Motion Design to join a dynamic Communications and Marketing team. This role is focused on the end-to-end production of high-quality visual and audiovisual content, ensuring all branding remains consistent across digital and print platforms.

Main Responsibilities

• Visual Design: Develop graphics for print and digital use, including infographics, brochures, reports, and social media assets.
• Motion Graphics & Video: Produce animated content and campaign videos; edit footage for events and social media, including transitions and title sequences.
• Brand Management: Ensure all outputs strictly adhere to established brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity.
• Asset Coordination: Manage design libraries, project archives, and photographs; prepare final artwork for distribution.
• Liaison: Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers (printers and AV contractors) to ensure timely delivery of project materials.
• Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance visual storytelling.
• Strong visual storytelling and design capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and organized workflow management.
• Familiarity with current social media formats and digital trends.

Requirements

• Candidates with foreign qualifications must provide an MQRIC recognition statement.
• Proven ability to use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro is considered a strong asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills in Maltese and/or English.

Education and Experience

• A recognized Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6, minimum 180 ECTS) in Graphic Design, Digital Arts, Motion Graphics, Media Production, or a related field.
• Ideally one (1) year of relevant work experience in a similar role.
