A well-established CSP is looking to recruit a Senior Associate, seeking a candidate with a keen eye for detail and a strong ability to manage complex tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Advise on corporate, banking, finance laws, and compliance matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate various financial agreements, including loans and security documents.
Prepare legal opinions and completion deliverables, such as corporate resolutions.
Contribute to the knowledge base by providing on-the-job training, publishing insights, and participating in academic initiatives.
Lead thought leadership in key areas and mentor trainees through training programs.
Assist in structuring and executing complex financial transactions (e.g., project finance, asset finance, corporate lending).
Conduct due diligence and risk assessments.
Represent clients in negotiations with financial institutions and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
Must be qualified with a local warrant
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Law or a comparable qualification from a globally recognized university.
At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in banking and finance with a reputable law firm.
