Our client is a professional education institution that provides training and development opportunities for individuals and organisations within Malta’s financial services sector. They now need to engage a Head of School.
The Role
The role involves identifying and developing professional, cultural, and social initiatives that support continuous professional development for clients.
The selected candidate will drive business development and manage corporate relations across the financial services sector.
Responsibilities include proposing and organizing events and conferences to promote the Institute’s services and enhance its industry profile.
The Head of School will attend meetings with banks, corporate service providers, and companies in financial services, gaming, and fintech.
They will be accountable for the Institute’s long-term sustainability, relevance, and achievement of its mission and vision.
The role also covers day-to-day management, ensuring smooth operations in line with the Committee’s policies.
Effective resource management, regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong client and partner relationships are essential.
The candidate will oversee marketing materials.
Requirements
Candidates must be motivated, innovative and organised
Have a similar experience in leading a team and preferably a small entity
Have good business development skills
Be fluent in Maltese & English
Knowledgeable in Malta's Education and Financial system will be considered as an asset
