A reputable company operating in the Legal sector is looking to recruit a Corporate Services Officer to join their Corporate Governance team. The chosen candidate will benefit from great exposure to a vast portfolio of clients as well as career progression
Responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact with assigned client companies, liaising regularly with board members and other representatives.
Prepare and organise agendas, supporting documents, and packs for board, committee, and annual general meetings
Attend meetings, take precise and timely minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
Draft board and shareholder resolutions as needed.
Handle the preparation and filing of statutory forms and annual returns with the MBR
Participate in meeting discussions when appropriate, providing guidance on legal and governance implications of proposed policies.
Keep abreast of changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory landscape.
Coordinate with external advisers, including auditors and other service providers.
Support clients with day-to-day operational needs and ad hoc requests.
Requirements
Sound knowledge of corporate matters and related MBR procedures
Diplomatic, sophisticated with good organisational and time management skills
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Able to multitask and manage a portfolio
Education and Experience
Previous local experience in a corporate administrative role
