Corporate Officer

  Central Malta  |  €35,000 - €45,000 Annually 

Our client a small CPA are looking for a Corporate Officer to join their team 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain statutory and corporate records for Maltese entities in line with requirements set by the Malta Business Registry (MBR) and other regulatory authorities.
  • Handle company incorporations, share transfers, directorship and shareholding changes, and other corporate maintenance tasks for Malta-registered entities.
  • Conduct and maintain due diligence and KYC documentation in line with AML/CFT regulations and company compliance policies.
  • Prepare and submit statutory filings with the MBR, FIAU, and other relevant Maltese authorities as required by law.
  • Support the Financial Controller with billing, invoicing, debtor tracking, and reconciliation processes.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to company liquidations and dissolutions in accordance with Maltese legal procedures.
  • Liaise with external service providers, including local banks, legal firms, auditors, and government agencies.
  • Oversee the daily running of the Malta office, ensuring smooth operations, cleanliness, and availability of office supplies and materials.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing communication, including phone calls, emails, correspondence, and courier deliveries.
  • Provide administrative and back-office support to senior management and other team members, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with staff, clients, and professional partners to support the company’s goals and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Maintain an organised electronic and physical filing system to ensure corporate and administrative documentation is easily accessible.
  • Assist with the implementation of internal policies, process improvements, and compliance monitoring for Maltese operations.
  • Carry out ad hoc administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation and compliance of the Malta entity.

Requirements

  • Previous local experience in dealing with MBR and handling registrations
  • Able to work on their own and with a team
