Chief Operational Officer(COO)

Our client is a leading supplier of electrical solutions in Malta, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee its day-to-day operations and drive future growth.

The Role

• The COO will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across wholesale, retail, warehousing, logistics, and project delivery.
• You will work closely with the CEO, this role will help shape and execute the company’s strategic vision.
• You will optimize processes, managing supply chain and inventory, and improving efficiency across all departments.
• You will lead and mentor department heads, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Customer satisfaction is central, and the COO will ensure timely service, reliable product availability, and strong quality standards.
• You will build strong relationships with suppliers while maintaining cost control and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• You will also oversee financial planning, budgeting, and the implementation of performance metrics.
• Introducing technology and digital systems to modernize operations will be a critical part of the role.
• You will coordinate all the team and ensure that team dynamics are optimal

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of operations leadership experience.
• Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking are essential.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required to succeed in this position.

Education and Experience

• Preferably have a tertiary level of education
