Our client in the aviation industry is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Ground Operations Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Ground Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and execution of global private jet operations.
As a key part of our Operational Control Center (OCC), you will ensure all flights are carried out in compliance with EASA regulations, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and operational efficiency.
The Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operational administration including databases, reporting tools, and documentation.
- Handle administrative tasks related to the OCC.
- Schedule flights, including coordination of overflight/landing permits, handling and fueling arrangements, and other supplementary services.
- Oversee flight dispatch and control: conduct flight planning, crew briefings, METAR/NOTAM analysis, movement tracking, and irregularity management.
- Monitor aircraft and crew availability and ensure compliance with MEL (Minimum Equipment List) requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales, CAMO, Flight Operations, and Ground Ops teams to maintain an optimized schedule.
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and logistics for flight crew.
- Organize ground services and passenger assistance, including B2B coordination, transportation, and catering.
- Conduct airport and route analyses to assess operational feasibility and support sales/ops planning.
- Monitor crew Flight Time Limitations and liaise with Maintenance regarding aircraft status.
- Provide in-flight assistance and live flight following.
- Maintain real-time oversight of the daily operation, addressing issues such as delays, aircraft availability, and unassigned flights.
Requirements
- Strong command of written and spoken English (mandatory).
- Proficient with aviation-specific flight planning and operational tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Operations Controller or Flight Dispatcher, preferably in private or business aviation.
- Holder of a valid Flight Dispatcher license or equivalent certification.
