Our client a start up payment company is seeking to recruit a Merchant Onboarding Risk Manager. This role sits at the intersection of payments, compliance, operations and product. You will be responsible for designing, optimizing and scaling the merchant onboarding process while maintaining strong risk and compliance standards.
Duties include:
Own and design the end‑to‑end merchant onboarding process
Improve KYC / KYB automation using tools such as IDenfy
Develop merchant risk framework and acceptance policies
Collaborate with acquiring bank partner
Improve onboarding UX and reduce onboarding time
Requirements
•3–7 years of experience in fintech, payments or acquiring
Experience in merchant onboarding, merchant risk or payments operations
Strong understanding of KYC / KYB and AML processes
Experience working with onboarding providers such as IDenfy, Onfido, SumSub, Veriff or Trulioo
