Compliance Officer
Central Malta | Up to €35,000 Annually
Our client an established audit firm is seeking to recruit a Compliance Executive
- Carry out periodic Customer Risk Assessments for all client base
- Ensure that client compliance files are always kept up to date
- Assist and train, as necessary, junior staff Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance
- Communicate with local regulatory bodies, if required
- Assist the Compliance Officer and MLRO, as may be required, with reporting obligations
- Assist with the updating of Company’s compliance policies and procedures to align with any regulatory changes, as may be required
- Conduct periodic internal compliance checks and report findings
- Stay updated with Maltese and EU compliance regulations and guidelines ensuring the company remains compliant
Requirements
- Candidates must hold compliance experience within the financial services industry
- Experience within corporates services is preferred
- Fluency in English
- Local experience is required
- Knowledge of local compliance regulations
