Compliance Executive
Central Malta | €40,000 - €45,000 Annually
Our Client, A leading Real Estate Company is looking to recruit a Compliance Executive to join their growing team.
Main Responsibilities :
- Gather, review, and analyse compliance-related data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform KYC and EDD checks, ensuring adherence to internal and regulatory standards.
- Review and validate branch-level submissions for compliance with MFSA and FIAU requirements.
- Conduct client and transaction screenings, including adverse media checks, to identify risks.
- Monitor compliance processes and controls, recommending improvements where needed.
- Maintain and update compliance systems and records regularly.
- Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory authorities as required.
Requirements
- Excellent command of both Maltese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate findings clearly and collaborate across teams.
- At least 2 years of experience in a compliance, AML, or related role, ideally within the financial services or real estate industry.
Education and Experience
- A tertiary-level qualification in Finance, Law, Compliance, Business Administration, or a related field.
