Your Impact
As a Compliance Associate, you will become a crucial point of support within the team, managing daily compliance queries, maintaining essential records, and helping ensure the organisation consistently meets regulatory expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Handle daily compliance queries with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring turnaround times and quality standards are consistently achieved.
Manage regulatory requests from bodies such as the MFSA, FIAU, SMB, Asset Recovery Bureau, and others, ensuring timely and precise submissions.
Process due diligence requests from external partners and service providers.
Gather evidence and documentation required for complaint investigations and maintain essential compliance registers.
Support the execution of the Compliance Monitoring Plan, assisting with ongoing monitoring and thematic reviews.
Carry out client screening checks during onboarding and on a continuous basis.
Conduct due diligence reviews on Members, Discretionary Fund Managers, Investment Advisory firms, and other third-party relationships.
Review internal policies and procedures regularly, helping maintain alignment with evolving regulatory requirements.
Assist in regulatory filings, including data collection and reporting preparation.
Provide administrative and operational support to the Compliance team when needed.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in financial services, ideally in a Compliance function.
High commitment to quality, accuracy, and regulatory diligence.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and remain calm under pressure.

Education and Experience
