We are working with a legal firm, who are looking to recruit an AML Screening Officer to join their growing AML Team.
What you'll be doing
Review and analyse alerts generated through customer screening systems, determining whether escalation is required.
Support onboarding and ongoing monitoring activities by assessing screening matches and investigating potential AML/sanctions risks.
Prepare and escalate reports on material true positive findings to the Compliance Officer and MLRO where necessary.
Maintain, validate, and monitor customer screening data, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of records, reports, and audit trails.
Assist with periodic reviews, remediation projects, compliance monitoring, internal audits, and the optimisation of screening tools and controls.
Monitor regulatory and sanctions developments, provide internal guidance and training, and follow up on outstanding screening-related matters and escalations.
Requirements
Previous experience in AML screening, compliance, customer due diligence, or a similar role will be considered an asset.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Have a good understanding of the Microsoft Office and Windows environment.
