AML Screening Assistant

  Central Malta  |  €22,000 - €26,000 Annually 

A well established international firm is currently in the process of growing their Compliance team with the addition of an AML Screening Assistant to support the team with screening against Sanctions, Law Enforcements and Adverse Media.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysing alerts within the ongoing screening systems 
  • Assisting first line of defence with analysing hits encountered during the screening at onboarding
  • Preparing reports of true positives if findings are material and must be escalated to the Compliance Officer or the MLRO
  • Monitoring and reporting on relevant sanctions outputs
  • Maintaining customer data within the screening platforms
  • Preparing and importing customer data and exporting of screening reports
  • Assisting with performing internal audits
  • Assisting with providing training to administrative staff on screening

Requirements

  • Knowledge on AML, Compliance and local regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proactive with an investigative approach to compliance

Education and Experience

  • Candidate with qualifications in a related field will be given preference
