Youth and Social Awareness Advisor (Gozo)

Our client within the wellbeing sector, is looking for a Youth and Social Awareness Advisor. Your main responsibilities will be to: 

  • Participate in social awareness projects, outreach activities, and other duties assigned by senior staff.
  • Develop, edit, publish, and manage engaging content for the organization’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
  • Research and apply evidence-based strategies to support social programs and awareness campaigns.
  • Assist in social research and data analysis to inform program design and evaluation.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and reporting of awareness initiatives and events.
  • Monitor social media engagement and suggest improvements to enhance audience reach and impact.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in messaging and project goals.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong command of social media platforms and online engagement tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven experience in content creation, editing, and social media correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various channels and formats.
  • Highly organized, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, promote, and mentor others on the philanthropic mission and values of the organization.

Education and Experience

  • A qualification at MQF Level 6 and/or relevant experience in the Social Sciences will be considered an asset.
