Therapy Facilitator & Advisor (Gozo)

Our client within the wellbeing sector, is looking for a Therapy Facilitator & Advisor. Your main responsibilities will be to: 

  • Guide, motivate, and support clients through various phases of therapy in both residential and community-based settings.
  • Manage and maintain a caseload, ensuring personalized attention and progress tracking for each client.
  • Deliver individual therapy sessions and planned care tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Conduct talks and facilitate group sessions, including planning, monitoring, and executing individual and group activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary therapy team to provide integrated support.
  • Support and educate family members, fostering understanding and involvement in the therapy process.
  • Participate in meetings, ongoing training, and seminars to maintain professional development.
  • Engage in professional supervision provided by external supervisors.
  • Contribute to the organization’s social awareness initiatives, strategies, and programs.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both Maltese and English, with strong speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Education and Experience

  • university Degree or equivalent at MQF Level 6 in a Social Science, or be in the process of completing such a qualification is ideal.
  • Relevant experience and a suitable disposition will also be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
