Our client, who is a rapidly growing cloud solutions provider based in Malta, specializing in AWS infrastructure for industries such as iGaming and beyond, are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Account Executive to lead their expansion efforts. In this key role, you’ll work closely with their CEO and Solutions Architect to generate new business opportunities and significantly contribute to their commercial success.
The ideal candidate must be a tech-savvy sales professional with a passion for building client relationships and driving business growth and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The responsibilities will include:
- Lead new business development by identifying, targeting, and securing relationships with potential clients and decision-makers.
- Design and implement lead generation strategies to penetrate target markets and build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Own the sales cycle, from initial outreach to successful deal closure, with a focus on acquiring new customers.
- Clearly communicate the value of the AWS cloud solutions and how they can drive business transformation.
- Collaborate with the Solutions Architect to create tailored, technically sound solutions that meet client needs and drive deals forward.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, including pipeline tracking, forecasting, and sales reporting.
- Collect and relay client feedback to improve offerings and enhance the customer experience.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity in the cloud and tech services space.
Requirements
- A proven track record in B2B sales, with strong results in lead generation and closing new business—preferably in cloud services or SaaS.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- A self-starter mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.
- A results-driven approach, with a passion for meeting and exceeding targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance tracking.
