Outdoor Sales Representative (B2B)

This Outdoor Sales Representative (B2B) job is within the electrical and light fittings industry.

The Key Responsibilities are with the Commercial Department:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and construction professionals, understanding their procurement cycles and project requirements.
  • Present electrical products and solutions tailored to contractor needs, demonstrating value and expertise.
  • Follow up on quotes, leads, and opportunities consistently to maximize conversion.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and project follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, operations, and technical support, to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Identify business opportunities and provide commercial insights to grow sales within the contractor market.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience is required - preferably in electrical products or construction supplies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly organized and Project Oriented.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide tailored solutions.
  • Problem-solving approach to quickly resolve client issues.
  • Collaborative team player capable of working across departments to support client needs.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of PLC would be advantageous.
