Product Specialist

Our client, is looking to recruit a Product Specialist to join their growing team. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, the chosen candidate will:

• Support the correct and safe use of medical devices and related products.
• Participate in clinical procedures as an observer and trainer where required.
• Provide in-theatre (OR) support to clinical teams using products within the portfolio.
• Follow up on product implementation and ongoing use with clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and diligent product and stock-related support activities.
• Meet with clients and stakeholders to present and share product information.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
• Act as a trusted clinical and product resource for clients.
• Assist in the preparation of sales quotations and tender submissions.
• Work towards achieving internal and external sales and performance targets.
• Identify and support business development opportunities through strong clinical insight and customer engagement.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers to support business and clinical needs.
• Continuously develop clinical, product, and market knowledge to become a subject matter expert.
• Participate in all required internal and external training programs.
• Maintain strong IT capability across standard business software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Support colleagues across functions to ensure overall team productivity and efficiency.
• Contribute positively to a collaborative and performance-driven team culture.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A natural aptitude for interacting with clients, and the ability to problem solve together with clients and other stakeholders.
• A well-developed business acumen, with a keen eye for business opportunities and business development
• Diligent and accurate in all tasks related to product and stock support.

Education and Experience

• Must be located in Malta holding valid local experience.
• Suitably qualified in the healthcare field with an aptitude to learn.
• A clean driving license is a must.
• Qualified and experienced Physiotherapists, Surgical Nurses and Medicall qualified profiles will be given preference.
