Our client, a reputable professional institute, is seeking to recruit an Career Promotion Officer to join their team. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for supporting and leading the Institute’s education-related initiatives in line with its strategic objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Institute in achieving education and training objectives, including promoting the accountancy profession.
- Identify, plan, and implement education-related projects and initiatives aligned with the Institute’s strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams and departments on education matters.
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as academic institutions, regulators, and government bodies.
- Develop plans to achieve specific educational goals and targets.
- Stay up to date with local and international developments in accounting education.
- Conduct research, write reports, and prepare materials for presentations and events.
- Represent the Institute in relevant national and international events, conferences, and exhibitions.
- Carry out other education-related duties as required.
Requirements
- A degree in Education, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (postgraduate qualification is considered an asset).
- Experience or interest in education, training, or curriculum development.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in research, report writing, and public speaking is desirable.
- Familiarity with the accountancy profession or professional education is an advantage.
