Our client within the Pharmaceutical Industry is looking for a Brand Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and product launch strategies.
Identify opportunities for growth and innovation, translating insights into actionable brand development initiatives.
Drive product sales through active presence in the local market—visiting hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other healthcare outlets to promote brands/products—and through close collaboration with the sales team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders, and suppliers both locally and internationally.
Educate healthcare providers on product benefits via regular visits, as well as by planning and coordinating promotional and educational events.
Develop and communicate a thorough scientific understanding of assigned products and competitor offerings in the marketplace.
Represent the brand by attending events both locally and abroad.
Focus on achieving growth targets while meeting sales and profitability objectives.
Prepare proposals and pricing submissions for clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Measure performance by analysing relevant data and metrics.
Monitor and research market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to guide brand strategy.
Lead brand campaigns and initiatives to strengthen brand identity.
Requirements:
Holds a background in medical or healthcare fields.
Preferably has previous experience in a similar role.
Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Marketing, or a related scientific discipline.
Demonstrates creativity and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Is highly organised with strong time management abilities.
