Senior Credit Officer

  Central Malta  |  €35,000 - €40,000 Annually 

Our client in the Banking Industry is looking for a Senior Credit Officer to join their growing team, and be the right hand of the Credit Manager. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Handling the loan administration management for the bank credit portfolio 
  • Handling the credit assessment and reviews for the new and existing clients 
  • Supporting in the recommendations to the credit team
  • Evaluating all customer proposals 
  • Ensuring strong relationships with bank customers
  • Preparing risk related reports 
  • Updating the credit procedures 
  • Being of support to the Senior Manager, Credit Manager and Head of Commercial 

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of working experience working within the Banking field in a related role
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese

Education and Experience

  • Holding a Diploma or equivalent in Finance or Banking
