Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Identifying opportunities to automate and streamline operational workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts
Ensuring smooth and efficient execution of clearing and settlement processes for local and international payments through process improvements
Managing projects from up to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budgets
Implementing improvements to reduce transaction processing time and enhance accuracy
Collaborating with central banks and other institutions to enhance payment infrastructure and maintaining good relationships with such bodies
Work hand in hand with other teams especially the IT department in order to integrate digital payment solutions with core banking and operational processes as well as identify and mitigate operational related risks
Monitoring industry trends and implementing the best practices for digital payment processing
Designing business test cases for System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
Ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and Central Bank guidelines
Providing training and support to employees
Establishing KPIs to track accuracy and efficiency
Compiling reporting to senior management on related areas of development and risks
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within a bank or a PSP
Highly analytical and problem solving skills
Possess strong knowledge in payment frameworks
Strong understanding of regulatory related requirements
Possess excellent intrapersonal and communication skills
