Head of Treasury

Our client within the Insurance Industry is looking to recruit a Head of Treasury. 

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a Treasury team, promoting excellence and continuous improvement
• Define and execute treasury strategies to support growth and financial performance
• Manage global cash, liquidity, working capital, and investment portfolios
• Optimize capital structure and lead financing initiatives
• Ensure Solvency II compliance and manage capital adequacy
• Oversee capital modeling, regulatory reporting, and stress testing
• Advise on capital allocation and monitor key solvency metrics
• Manage banking relationships and payment operations across jurisdictions
• Enhance operational efficiency through technology and process improvements
• Oversee FX risk management and ensure compliance in treasury activities
• Optimize cash usage and investment returns
• Deliver accurate cash flow forecasting and liquidity insights
• Support business decisions through treasury analysis and performance tracking
• Work closely with finance leaders and business units to align treasury activities
• Maintain strong relationships with banks, regulators, and investment partners
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects

Requirements

• 3+ years in treasury, including 1+ year in a leadership role
• Analytical, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
• Proficient in treasury platforms, ERP systems, Excel, and BI tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certifications (CTP, CFA, FRM) preferred
• Experience in cash and investment management, banking relationships, and regulatory frameworks (Solvency II preferred)
