Our client is a local bank who is looking for a Credit Admin Officer to join their team and assist the manager in working on a portfolio of problematic high-risk customers domiciled in the Credit Administration Unit (CAU)
What you'll be doing
Evaluate customer proposals and prepare credit recommendations in line with the Bank’s lending policies and regulatory requirements.
Support the management, monitoring, and review of the CAU portfolio, ensuring accurate system input (LPS, CRM, ICBS) and proper documentation of securities.
Deliver prompt and professional customer service, coordinating and attending client meetings and preparing minutes as required.
Monitor excesses and risk exposures, prepare relevant reports (including AD15s), and proactively identify potential problem accounts to minimize losses.
Prepare credit applications, portfolio reports, returns, and other ad hoc management information as required.
Collaborate with internal units, support staff through mentoring, and conduct site visits to monitor client projects and compliance.
Requirements
1-2 years in Retail / Commerial Banking
Excellent communication in English and Maltese
Excellent Command of Microsoft Excel
Education and Experience
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk or Compliance
