We are looking for a highly skilled Travel Manager to lead the travel and logistics function. This role is perfect for an experienced travel professional who combines operational excellence, financial accuracy, and strong leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee daily travel operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Guide, mentor, and support junior team members, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Manage reservations, ticketing, hotel bookings, chauffeur services, and related logistics.
- Take ownership of rebookings, amendments, issue resolution, and complex travel cases.
- Oversee invoicing, refunds, credit notes, and ensure timely closure of all financial items.
- Maintain expert knowledge of airline rules, fare structures, visas, and IATA regulations.
- Act as the team’s go-to specialist for Amadeus and GDS-related queries.
- Prepare accurate IATA, Amadeus, and SAP travel reports and support budget planning.
- Build strong relationships with airlines, hotels, and vendors; negotiate competitive rates.
- Ensure compliance with travel policies and identify opportunities to enhance service and reduce costs.
What You Bring
- 7+ years in travel operations, including 3+ years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Hands-on expertise with Amadeus GDS and strong knowledge of IATA BSP processes.
- Valid IATA certification (mandatory).
- Strong systems experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; SAP preferred).
- Excellent English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, confident, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills—calm and solutions-driven under pressure.
