Our client is looking for Ticketing & Reservations Officers, based at Malta International Airport, representing well-established airlines. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will be handling sales and ticketing duties within the Airline industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage reservations, ticket issuance, and fare collection efficiently.
- Handle rebookings, process necessary itinerary changes, and resolve booking-related issues.
- Provide operational support to the Duty Manager, Duty Executive, and ground handling staff to ensure smooth service delivery for airline customers.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Assist with ticketing and other related issues across all partner airline flights managed by Aviation Online.
- Perform daily reconciliation of credit card payments, cash transactions, and invoices, ensuring accurate documentation is submitted to Accounting and Banking departments.
- Prepare and submit regular and ad-hoc reports accurately and within designated deadlines.
- Stay up to date with airline policies, procedures, and industry developments, and communicate relevant information to clients effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of airline products, services, and procedures.
- Operate proficiently across multiple airline platforms and Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Working Hours: Monday-Sunday on a Shift basis
Requirements
- Experience and Knowledge within the Aviation or Hospitality industry
- A well groomed appearance and a pleasant and courteous manner
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
Education and Experience
- O Level standard of Education
- Knowledge of Airline Systems software
